Yuko Brull, MFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides a calm and warm presence. She is skilled in establishing rapport with children and teens. Clients have shared that they appreciate her creative and caring approach to treatment.
She applies specialized evidence-based skills in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness to help clients learn coping skills and better adjust to life’s challenges.

Private Practice 2007- 2012 - Santa Monica, California. Provided individual psychotherapy to adults and children. Used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Play Therapy to treat clients with Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other diagnoses. Supported parents to improve home environments; worked in group settings with children and parents.
Contract Clinician 2006-2010 - Vista Del Mar Family Service of Santa Monica, Santa Monica, California. Provided individual therapy for youths and families. Used cognitive behavior therapy, psycho-social education, art and play therapies.
Full-time intern 2002-2003 - Inter-community Guidance Counseling Center, Whittier, California. Conducted on-site treatment of students in elementary, middle and high schools.
